Giacomo Agostini is with Mike Hailwood all time greatest Motorcycle champion. “Ago” was fast ; he rode the 350 and 500 MV Agusta which were the best bikes of the sixties. He was also an handsome man and this painting shows of course the charm he put on women. In this scene we are at the 1965 Tourist Trophy and Agostini ended third while Phil Read won the race. What would have happened if “Ago” was not distracted by this beautifull girl ? This painting has been signed by the great champion himself during the Artcurial auction that took place at Retromobile in February 2019.
