This painting is first of the Series "In God we trust" dedicated to the American Gangsters. This shows the gangster like they are depicted in the Hollywood movies but is also ironically pointing at the mix of money and religion. Strange to see such a sentence on a dollar bill ! For the painting, the dollar bill have been printed enlarged on canvas and mounted on a doubled frame. The characters are painted on it.
