First episode of a series of paintings telling the story of three American gangsters : Jim, John and Ophelia Bellemare. I've particularly worked on the light effects with some "Norman Rockwell" style in the brush strokes. Four friends of mine were enroled as gangsters playing poker. I shot the pictures at the workshop I had a few years ago in Bordeaux. I'm preparing 9 other compositions to tell this painted movie.
