For helping each other in case of engine failures, the old Breguet XIV always flew in pairs. When one of the airplanes did an emergency landing, the other one could rescue him or eventually fly to the closest Aeropostale base for alerting the assistance. This painting shows two Breguet biplanes above the Moroccan desert.
