This painting illustrates Pierre Clostermann in his Spitfire escorting B24 bombers with his friend Jacques Remlinger. Suddenly they have to face a Flak barrage. My painting is inspired by the chapter "Escorts" from "the Big Show", Pierre Clostermann's famous best seller.
