"Goodwood Tribute" is a tribute to the great Formula 1 pilots of the end of the fifties. It's a huge 200 x 130 cm commission work. The custommer is Cooper's T51 owner. I've submitted to show him chating with Sir Jack Brabham, an idea that he liked very much . On the background you can see many famous pilots having a discussion : Stirling Moss, Richie Ginther, Tonny Brooks, Phil Hill. We can even see BRM's engineer, Tonny Rudd at the steer of a P-25. Back then , the rear engined race cars were starting to dominate the Grand Prix and race cars like the beautifull Ferrari Dino were clearly outclassed. The Grid girl on the foreground, chating with John Steed is custommer's wife.
