This painting is a commission for illustrating the 2020 Essen techno Classica poster. The organisators has asked me to mix different epochs in a single painting. Les thirties are depicted by a Bugatti Royale. The prestigious car is side by side with an actual Bugatti Chiron. A Fiat 500 and James Bond's Aston Martin symbolize the fifties. A young girl on a Vespa is represented on the right as a tribute to the sixties's freedom. At the Bugatti's steering wheel the artist looks happy and proud. He has driven the Leonardo di Caprio/Kate Beckinsale couple to the « Hotel de Paris » visible in the background.
