This painting is a free interpretation of the 1959 Tour de France auto. The action takes place at Nice and in the Background you can spot the "Promenade des anglais" that I changed to fit in an advertising poster. There were strict graphic constraints that required to make a lot of space left for the texts and the big logo in the center of the poster. This is a commission work for the 2019 Essen techno Classica, the biggest Classic car show in Europe. I've tried to keep the painting dynamic and joyfull to show the popular embiance of the Tour de France auto. olivier Gendebien and Lucien Bianchi are staring in their Beautifull Ferrari 250 GT. In the crowd you can spot three famous actors. try to find them !
