"Panamericana 1952, Ferrari 340" - limited edition print

The Ferrari « Mexico n°14 was driven par Alberto Ascari & Giuseppe Scotuzzi / The blue Ferrari was driven by Jack & Ernie McAffee. The Ferrari 340 "Mexico" didn’t go very far : the first day, crash after only 100km racing !
The Panamericana was an extraordinnary 3500 km race  between the United States and Mexico. The first edition took place in 1950 and was won by Hershell McGriff  driving an Oldsmobile. The European started giving some great interest on the race that increased in popularity. Ferrari, Mercedes, Lancia engaged big investment to take the win. In 1955, it’s all over ! The Panamericana is suddenly forbidden for security reasons. The terrible accident in le Mans that year (80 deaths) put an end to many road races.
