Lotus Seven S2 - oil on canvas

The Lotus Seven was one of the most popular British sports cars. Sold as a kit, this little car was a very pleasant one to drive thanks to its lightweight and excellent adhesion. The TV series "The Prisoner" contributed very much to its popularity. You probably remember Patrick McGoohan rushing throug the streets of London, ignoring his nasty future. This painting is both a portrait of the car and Frederic, its lucky owner ! (see detail).
