A very small painting (24 cm x 19 cm) which shows Roy Salvadori waiting patiently in the heat of the 1957 Rouen-les-Essarts Grand Prix. The British race driver had to replace Stirling Moss who felt ill just before the race. But he would not challenge the unbeatable Fangio on his Maserati.
